I’m Judy Troyer, music enthusiast, grandma of nine awesome grandkids, and creator of Bible Tunes, now known as Little Bible Tunes. I must have been born with a passion for music because I remember begging for piano lessons for what seemed like forever! I’m so grateful to God for giving me that passion and ability to realize my dreams. My wonderful mother, a seasoned pianist and organist herself, made sure that I received the best classical piano lessons for 13 years. I came late to composing, but once I caught the bug, it quickly took over! I immediately enlisted my youngest daughter, Emily, to help me.
Emily Smith sings most of our Little Bible Tunes as well as writes some of them, too. Married to an awesome man who shares her love for music, they care for their 4 beautiful daughters, homeschooling the oldest two. Emily also excels in art – you’ll see her creativity throughout the videos, blogs, and art projects. (She painted our beautiful tree we use in the header.)
Along with our new website, we’ve added a blog section targeted for young families. Having experienced this challenging phase of life in what seems like another lifetime, I knew we needed fresh ideas, so once again I enlisted more helpers. New to Little Bible Tunes are Ashley Troyer, my daughter-in-law and Jennifer Conrad, my oldest daughter.
Ashley’s resume includes being a full-time mother of 2 rough-and tumble boys and a spunky, cute little girl. She taught school for five years and now teaches their oldest son at home. She’s a calligrapher, photographer, an excellent cook, gardener, a home organizer and designer, along with many more talents! Ashley’s love for people and especially children shines through everything she does!
And last, but not least, is Jennifer Conrad. I’m thrilled at the prospect of her contributions. Her two awesome teenage sons are a tribute to her excellent mothering skills. She held down the fort as their military family frequently moved about the country. And in her “spare” time, she managed to finish her bachelor’s degree and nail down her dream job working on high school exchange programs for the State Department. Of course, she gives God all the glory for providing a pathway of opportunities. I always think of her as the light of the party because there’s never a dull moment when she’s around!
But enough about us. Now it’s time for you and your little ones to explore our music, blog posts, videos, puzzles, and projects here at Little Bible Tunes!
